Indiana borough police say that one man from Johnstown has been charged with several drug crimes along with driving on a suspended license.
Police say at 1:31 in the morning on July 9th, Indiana Borough Police stopped a car in the 1600 block of Philadelphia Street after the officers saw the car swerving in its lane. The driver, 36-year-old Andrew Robinson of Johnstown, was reportedly under the influence of marijuana and was subsequently arrested for DUI. When they searched his car, they found prescription pills in an unauthorized container, an open container of alcohol, a small amount of marijuana and other items of drug paraphernalia. Robinson would later be released to the state police.
Robinson faces charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance, of a small amount of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia, driving while on a suspended license, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. This is not the first time he has been in trouble, as he has a lengthy rap sheet in Cambria County, including drug charges that he is currently facing in Cambria County Court
