State police report a burglary in East Wheatfield Township that involved a large amount of cash and some jewelry.
It happened sometime in May or June at the home of a 73-year-old woman who lives along West Philadelphia Street in Armagh. A thief stole more than $1,500 cash, a debit card, and some necklaces. Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call police at 357-1960.
