White Township Supervisors are once again urging people to get their flood damage information into them.
Township residents have until the end of the month to report the damage done by flood waters in June. Supervisors say that it’s important in the township’s effort to get state emergency management agency funding for repairs.
In other business, the Township Supervisors approved relocating a section of Muller Road. Township manager Milt Lady said there was a steep bank that’s part of the road’s shoulder that was damaged by high water flows. While it isn’t an eminent danger, the best option would be to shift the road over and away from the area that’s collapsing.
It was also announced at last night’s meeting that longtime township secretary and treasurer Cindy Garritano will retire in February in 2018. Garritano has served in that position for 27 years. Records Management Clerk Donna Hill will be promoted to take over for Garritano when she retires.
