GREEN TOWNSHIP
One person had suspected minor injuries in a crash over the Independence Day weekend. Police say around 9:50 PM on July 2nd, 50-year-old Peter Serbin of Commodore was driving east on Allison Road in Green Township when he swerved to the right to miss a deer in the roadway. The truck went off the road, and as Serbin tried to get the truck back on the road, he went across the center lien and into the path of a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Nina Lamagna of Cherry Tree. Lamagna was taken to IRMC for treatment after the crash.
HOME STATION
State Police are investigating a theft from a 21-year-old Man in Home Station. Sometime on June 24th or 25th, an unknown person got a hold of the bank account information of the victim and used it to withdraw $809.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
Two men from Holidaysburg and a man from Duncansville were charged with drug crimes after a traffic stop on July 4th. Police say around 12:19 PM, they pulled over a car containing 19-year-old Seth Partner and 18-year-old Austin Finochio, both of Holidaysburg, and 18-year-old Madison McKeirnan of Duncansville, and found a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The traffic stop was along Route 422.
EAST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
Metal thieves have hit once again, this time in East Wheatfield Township. Sometime between 6:00 PM on June 27th and 5:30 PM on June 28th, someone took copper wire from a can located in the driveway of Michael Buzzinotti. A 15 inch aluminum tire rim was also stolen. Police have valued the loss at $280. The investigation is continuing.
GLEN CAMPBELL
State Police are investigating what they called a case of criminal mischief that did damage to a man’s pick-up truck. This happened on Montgomery Church Road in Glen Campbell between May 28th and June 9th. Someone placed an unknown substance into the gas tank of a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup that belonged to a 49-year-old Glen Campbell man. The substance is believed to be sugar and it has caused over $2000 in damages. If you have any information, call police at 724-357-1960.
SALTSBURG
Police are looking for someone who left some drug paraphernalia in a public restroom in Saltsburg. The paraphernalia was found in the men’s room along Market Street in Saltsburg. A brown wallet was found in the trash can, and in the wallet was a silver spoon and a syringe. If you have any information, call state police.
