Game 3 of the Youth Legion semifinal series between Kelly Chrysler of Brookville and SW Jack was suspended because of weather last night, and SW Jack has some ground to make up. The rain came to the White Township Recreation Complex minutes before the scheduled 6 o’clock start, forcing a fifteen-minute delay and a change from the Hogan Field to the S&T Bank Field. Brookville scored three runs in the top of the first and after the Drillers’ leadoff hitter grounded out, lightning was spotted, forcing a stoppage in play, and minutes later a heavy storm began. The game will be picked up tonight at 6 with one out in the bottom of the first and Brookville leading 3-0.
The winner tonight moves on to the best-of-three finals at Armstrong, starting tomorrow night. Armstrong eliminated Punxsutawney on Monday night.
