Pitt basketball has released its non-conference schedule for next season, and it includes the renewal of the rivalry with West Virginia, on December 9th. The two teams last played in 2012, but they’ve played 184 times over the years in a series that began in 1904. The City Game against Duquesne will be December 1st at PPG Paints Arena. Pitt will play Navy for the first time in twenty years, on November 10th. That will be in Annapolis at the Veterans Classic. Other non-conference opponents for the Panthers next season will be Montana and UC-Santa Barbara, Lehigh, High Point, Mount St. Mary’s, McNeese State, Delaware State, and Towson.
