Ligonier Valley standout wrestler Robby Patrick has announced that he will attend the University of Virginia on a wrestling scholarship. His other finalist was Pitt. Entering his senior season for the Rams, Patrick is a three-time District 6 champion and two-time state runnerup. In his high school career, he is 110-14 and was 38-2 last year. He wrestled at 152 pounds last year but says he will move up to 174 pounds at UVA. Patrick is ranked the number 12 wrestler in Pennsylvania and number 70 in the nation, according to FloWrestling.com.
