PSP-PUNXSUTAWNEY
One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash in northern Indiana County on Saturday. State Police from the Punxsutawney Barracks investigated the accident that happened in North Mahoning Township at 11:41 Saturday Morning. 17-year-old Jazzmine Hadden of Punxsutawney was driving on Juneau Road just east of Wachob Road when she was distracted by trying to tune her radio. She lost control of the pickup and veered off the right side of the road, going into a small drainage ditch and hitting a mailbox, a utility pole and a tree before coming to a rest. Hadden’s truck was disabled in the crash and had to be towed. She was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of suspected neck injuries that police have classified as “minor”. State Police did cite her for not having the required financial responsibility papers.

State Police have charged a Marion Center man and an Indiana Woman with trespassing. This was at the Two Lick Boat Launch in White Township. Police found Candace Adamson and Byron King at 8:45 in the morning on Sunday, and there was evidence that the two camped out and even had a campfire in the boating area when it was not permitted overnight. Charges against the two were filed through District Court.
INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a hit and run crash and are asking the public for their assistance. The crash happened on Saturday between 7:00 and 8:00 PM in the 1000 block of Philadelphia Street. The offending car hit the driver’s side rear-view mirror of the parked car, and the offender didn’t notify the authorities or the car’s owner.
