State Police from Kittanning are investigating a case of harassment in Shelocta. The incident happened Friday at 11:03 AM at a home on Dutch Run Road. The two victims, identified as a 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman from the Dayton area, were in an argument when the man spat in the woman’s face. The woman retaliated by slapping the man across the face. Both were cited for harassment.

State Police from Punxsutawney are investigating a theft that happened last weekend in Northern Indiana County. The theft happened at a home in Canoe Township between 9:00 PM on July 1st and 11:51 AM on July 2nd. The victim, identified only as a 36-year-old man, reported that two motorcycles were taken from a garage across the street from his home. The bikes are described as a 2006 Green and White Kawasaki KX85 with “Monster” graphics, a silencer and bright orange gasket sealer around the center case. The other bike is a 1995 White, Blue-and Yellow Husqvarna WX250 with risers on the handlebars, FMF Exhaust Pipe and it smokes bad. A special goat has gone missing from a farm in the Smicksburg area and police are looking to the public for help. State police say that Ashley Zimmerman reported a Nigerian goat with a deformed horn went missing from a location on Route 210 in North Mahoning Township on June 13th.
