Goldie Mae Lydick, 78, of Clymer, PA died Friday, July 7, 2017 at AristaCare at Hillsdale Park following a courageous battle with leukemia.
A daughter of Roy and Flora (Hullenbaugh) Lydick, she was born on February 15, 1939 in Indiana, PA.
Goldie was a member of the Clymer Christian Church
She had worked for Levinson’s Department Store in Clymer, PA for many years before moving to Warren, PA, where she worked for Levinson’s Brothers Department Store for ten years.
After returning home, Goldie worked at Greensteel; Scerbo’s Pharmacy, and most recently for Helping Hands.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Thomas Lydick and Gladys Lydick, both of Clymer, PA; George Lydick of Penn Run, PA; Christina Kyrouac and husband Ken of Bourbonnais, IL; Roger Lydick and wife Rose of Clymer, PA; Raymond Lydick and wife Pat of Marion Center, PA and Dorothy Harbrige and husband Bob of Commodore, PA.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Barbara Ann and another infant sister.
In keeping with Goldie’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale will be assisting the family.
