A section of Old Route 119 will close Wednesday as the next phase of the Route 119 Homer City North Roadway Improvement Project gets underway.
The section that will be closed for this phase of the project will be from Trail Lane and the new connector road with Route 119. The posted detour will utilize Route 119 and Wayne Avenue to get around the construction zone. The $9.3 million project, which is being worked on by Gulisek Construction, is scheduled to wrap up sometime in late Fall of 2017.
