It’s not known if anyone was injured in a hit and run crash on Warren Road in White Township on Wednesday. State Police say an unknown driver lost control of their car as they traveled East on Warren Road around 4:25 PM on Wednesday when the car went over a small curb and hit two mailboxes on adjacent properties with its front end. No word on what type of vehicle was involved.
State Police say a Northern Cambria man is facing charges of retail theft for an incident on Tuesday at the White Township Wal-Mart. Police say around noon on the June 27th, an un-named 25-year-old Northern Cambria man tried to steal a wireless internet router from the store, but Wal-Mart’s loss prevention personnel stopped him from stealing the item.
INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough Police have charged a Blairsville man with drug possession charges. Police say they encountered 36-year-old Benjamin Clawson in the 200 block of Elm Street on June 27th during a traffic stop, and he was in possession of heroin, crack cocaine and suboxone. He faces three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a summary traffic violation.
