Police are looking for one of the drivers involved in a hit-and-run crash in Rayne Township earlier this month. State Police say around 11:45 AM on June 7th, an unknown driver was going North on Route 119 near Wynkoop road and crossed the center line, and hit the mirror of a Chevy Equinox driven by George Campbell of Leeper as the two drove by each other. The unknown driver did not stop and continued to drive north on 119.
State Police are looking for someone who stole the debit card information of a Clymer man and used it to take a lot of money. Trooper say the theft happened on June 2nd, when an unidentified 32-year-old Clymer man had his debit card information stolen and the unknown thief used the information to withdraw $203 from the victim’s checking account using an ATM in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. A traffic stop turned into a DUI bust after a Texas man was found driving under the influence. State Police made the traffic stop on June 24th on Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough. Juan Jose Salazar was stopped on a summary traffic offense, but police determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was placed in the Indiana County Jail pending arraignment.
