A Homer City man will be cited for harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident yesterday afternoon in the lobby of the emergency room at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. State police say Harold Lee Filler Jr. made a verbal threat to a woman and was otherwise loud and disruptive.
Two crashes have been reported in the county as well.
State police say the driver had left the scene by the time they arrived at a crash along Saltsburg Avenue in White Township on Thursday afternoon. He was later identified as 26-year-old Gregory Strauss of Saltillo, in Huntingdon County. He lost control of his vehicle on a slight right-hand curve, crossed the road and struck a raised embankment before spinning around and coming to rest back on the road. Police say it is unknown if Strauss was injured.
No report is yet available on an accident last evening in Blairsville. Indiana County 911 reports a vehicle crashed into a structure on North Morrow Street. Blairsville firefighters and police responded at 6:14 PM.
