The last two days have seen some hard rainfall in the Indiana County Area and on Friday, that rain caused flooding on streets.
Several smaller streams near roads flooded, including Wayne Avenue near the KCAC and the Poets Village area of White Township.

In fact, Indiana County 911 had so many pumping details in White Township, they were not listed. The flooding did cause one small SUV to get stuck at the intersection of Wayne and Carter Avenues. IUP Police assisted the man in getting unstuck.

Many of the bridges in the affected areas had so much water flowing, the water levels were near the bottom of the bridges.
So how much rain did Indiana see over the last twenty-four hours? Unofficially, two inches of rain came into the area, but official statistics from the Pennsylvania American Water Company’s Twolick Filter Plant are not available as yet.
