Emily Paouncic, 87 of Blairsville, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
She was born January 23, 1930 in Brenizer, PA, the daughter of the late Harry Goodlin and Elsie (Cobes) Goodlin.
Emily retired in 1992 from Blairsville Machine ater 42 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, candy making, crocheting and going to the casinos. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Emily enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Emily is survived by her daughter, Carol Germano of Derry, PA; son, Jack Paouncic & wife, JoAnn Fleming of Blairsville, PA; daughter, Patricia Kim Madoni & husband, Daniel of Blairsville, PA; grandchild, Brian Prola & Jodie Strotman; grandchild, Scott Prola & wife Leslie; grandchild, Nathan Paouncic; grandchild, Jacob Paouncic & fiance, Lori Huczko; great grandchildren: Conner, Caleb & Emma; sister, Patricia Cribbs of Blairsville, PA and brother, Robert Goodlin of Blairsville, PA.
She was preceded in death by James V. Myers; infant brother, Harry Goodlin; brothers: Vaughn & Clyde Goodlin; sisters: Mabel Grdgon, Jean Smith, Betty Mullen and Olive Cardellino and son-in-law, Vince Germano , Jr.
In keeping with Emily’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
