Indiana Borough Police have reported on several drug cases dating back to early May.
The first case that police are reporting on today goes back to May 6th. Around 10:11 PM that day, police came across 20-year-old Michael Crooch of Singing Spring, PA in the 600 block of School Street. He was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when police came across him. Crooch was charged in a criminal complaint with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two days later, police report that the same charges were filed against 37-year-old Geroges Rushnock of Punxsutawney. This was at 6:26 PM on May 8th in the 400 block of South 7th Street, and he was also in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. On top of those charges, Rushnok was charged with two traffic offenses.
A third set of drug charges were filed on May 24th. The charges come from an incident at 5:40 PM in the 100 block of North 5th Street. That’s when police encountered 36-year-old Jennifer Johnson of Homer City and 22-year-old Chante McCreary of Indiana, and they were in possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia. The possession charges along with two traffic-related charges were filed in a criminal complaint against both Johnson and McCreary.
