Jameson Taillon returned to the mound, five weeks after cancer surgery, to throw five scoreless innings, giving the Pirates a 7-2 win over the Rockies last night at PNC Park.
Taillon recorded his third win of the season. Josh Harrison got the Bucs started with a two-run homer in the first inning. The Pirates have now won three games in a row for the first time since late April.
