Ivan Nova allowed one hit over six shutout innings, as the Pirates beat the Marlins, 3-1, Sunday at PNC Park.
Nova improved to 6-4 on the year. Rookie catcher Elias Diaz had a two-run double, driving in two runs, and Jordy Mercer drove in the other run.
