We reported yesterday that Jameson Taillon was about to return to the Pirates, and The Pirates confirmed that Taillon will pitch on Monday in the Pirates game against the Colorado Rockies. This will be Taillon’s first Major League game since undergoing surgery for testicular cancer five weeks ago. Taillon has been in some rehab assignments in Altoona and Indianapolis since his surgery.
Also, Tyler Glasnow has been sent down to Triple-A Indianapolis as they continue to re-tool their bullpen. In 12 starts this season, Glasnow is 2-6 with a 7.45 ERA, and has issued a team-high 29 walks in 54 and a third innings.
