Dorothy G. Wainright, 94 of Blairsville, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.
She was born July 11, 1922 in Ligonier Valley, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer T. Flack and Mary Elizabeth (Sutch) Flack.
She was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, PA. Dorothy was a member of the missionary society at Church, Blairsville Grange #2012, Blairsville Senior Citizens Center and the Blacklick Twp. Election Board.
Dorothy enjoyed going to the Senior Center and also doing jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by her son, Alan C. Wainwright & wife, Therese of Clarksburg, PA; daughter, Mary Beth West & husband, Gary of Seaford, DE; grandchildren: Gregory Donald Wainwright and Blaine Hunter Wainwright and brother, Charles A. Flack of Ocala, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Hunter Wainwright in 1989; infant brother, Edmund Flack; brothers: Forrest E. Flack, David Thomas Flack, Floyd C. Flack, George Flack, Henry E. Flack and James W. Flack; sisters: Ella Fodiak, sister, Janet Ridge and Elizabeth Barnhart.
The Family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Elizabeth Arter will officiate. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
