An Indiana contractor is due in Plea Court today to answer charges in several theft by deception cases for allegations of fraudulent business practices.
32-year-old Tony Busija, owner of Busija Remodeling LLC, is facing 22 counts of theft by deception and a single count of bad checks for one case from October of last year. Other cases include three counts of theft by deception and a single count of bad checks for failing to complete a roofing job in Indiana last May, another case from last May in which he’s facing a single count of theft by deception, and another single count of theft by deception from October of last year. Last month in Jefferson County Court, Busija pleaded guilty to a changed charge of disorderly conduct in a theft be deception case for a roofing job in Punxsutawney. He was ordered to pay restitution of $3,300 plus a fine and court costs.
19-year-old Elijah Fletcher of McElhatten, Clinton County, is scheduled to enter guilty pleas in two drug cases today. He’s charged with possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication device, and possession of drug paraphernalia in both cases, which are dated March 7th and March 16th of this year.
29-year-old Cepeda Hobbs, whose address is not listed but who has a long criminal history with various addressed in the New Kensington area, is scheduled for Indiana County Plea Court on charges of possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance for a September 2013 case, filed by state police in Greensburg.
