A pedestrian was injured in a collision with a truck in White Township on Tuesday.
State police say 56-year-old Ray Moore of Lower Burrell was driving his truck on a private driveway and was making a left turn onto Martin Road when the tailgate swung open and hit 50-year-old Doyle Henry of Indiana, who was walking east along Martin Road. After impact, Moore called 911 and returned to the scene of the crash to attend to Henry until paramedics arrived.
There was no damage to the truck, but Henry suffered what police are calling “suspected minor injuries” and was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center. State Police have cited Moore with driving on a suspended or revoked license.
