State Police report an incident of statutory rape and corruption of minors in Armstrong County.
19-year-old Grant Rupp of New Bethlehem was arrested for 4 sexual assaults reported by the victim, a 12-year-old girl. The assaults occurred between March 24th and April 19th.
On Thursday, June 1st, an arrest warrant was provided by Magisterial District Judge James Owen. Rupp was located at a residence in the Tionesta area of Clarion County, at which time he was taken to Armstrong County Jail and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Andring after failing to post $50,000 bond.
Rupp was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, four counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, twelve counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault, four counts of Sexual Assault, four counts Corruption of Minors, four counts of Simple Assault, four counts of Indecent Assault, and four counts of harassment.
