PennDOT says another bridge project is set to get underway and this one will cause a detour in South Mahoning Township.
Starting on June 12th, Route 954 will close between Baker Road and Route 85 for the installation of a box culvert to replace a bridge over the North Branch of Plum Creek.
Route 954 is a divided roadway in Plumville, with one section terminating at Route 85 on the west side of town and the other section headed north out of the middle of the town. The road closure will be on the west side, headed toward Sagamore. PennDOT says the detour will use Route 85 to Five Points Road and back to Route 954.
The new bridge is expected to open in mid-August, with the $449,000 project to be completed in November.
