Violet Jane (Madison) Ziegmond, age 89, of Indiana, died
Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Rose Haven Personal Care Home,
Indiana.
She was born in 1928 in Clune to Emil and Catherine Lanich
Madison.
Violet was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent.
She was employed as a speech therapist for ARIN Intermediate
Unit for 28 years retiring in 1992.
After retirement she spent her time traveling across the country
to all 50 states and throughout Europe. She also enjoyed
gardening and reading.
Violet is survived by her son-in-law – James F. Wargo,
Oakmont; two grandsons – James M. Wargo, Nanuet, NY;
Daniel J. Wargo and wife Erin, New Hampton, NY; two great
granddaughters and one great grandson, Natalie and Reagan
Death: May 27, 2017
Wargo; Grady Wargo; one aunt Charlotte Midock,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred S.
Ziegmond in 2015, her daughter J. Renee Wargo in 2005, her
grandparent who raised her, Mark and Ruby Lanich.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the
Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral mass will be
celebrated on Wednesday at 10 A.M. at the Church of the Good
Shepherd, Kent, with the Rev. Fr. William Lechnar, the
celebrant. Entombment will be made in the Twin Valley
Mausoleum, Delmont.

Pennsylvania is one of fifteen states that does not require any form of identification in order to vote. Meanwhile, eight states require photo ID in order to vote with no exceptions. What should Pennsylvania do?
