John Jaso was the hero as he drove in the tying run in the ninth inning and the winning run in the 10th in a 5-4 walkoff win for the Pirates against the New York Mets Saturday night.
Andrew McCutchen drove in three runs. He joined Jaso, Francisco Cervelli and Jordy Mercer with two hits each, as the Pirates collected 13 against Mets pitching.
McCutchen hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning.
Tony Watson, the fifth Pirates pitcher of the night, picked up the win.
