A local early childhood education center has earned top honors from a statewide program.
LOLA’s Early Care and Education Center was awarded with the star 4 rating from Pennsylvania Keys. The top honor comes just 15 months after LOLA’s opened their doors on Old Route 119 in Homer City. The Pennsylvania Key program focuses on quality improvements and professional development supports for early childhood education. Meghan Strawcutter, director of LOLA’s said that for them to earn the star 4 rating was one of their goals, but to earn it as quickly as they did is very unusual. LOLA’s co-owner Stephanie DiLeo was quick to credit Strawcutter and her staff for LOLA’s success.
In celebration of their recent star 4 recognition, they will hold an open house celebration today from 1-7 PM. We will broadcast from LOLA’s from 3-6 PM today on our affiliate U-92.5 FM.
