An Indiana woman was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance during her preliminary hearing before District Judge Susanne Steffee in Homer City.
19-year-old Destiny Annmarie Rumph was in court for a preliminary hearing on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia when she became argumentative with Judge Steffee and the judge’s staff. After being warned numerous times to cooperate, Rumph was finally charged for – in the words of police – “creating a public annoyance and alarm”.
The possession charge was waived to court and Rumph was released with no bond.
