The Penns Manor School Board held a special meeting last night where they approved hiring several positions.
Last night, the board approved hiring Joshua Muscatello as the new business manager. He will work on an as-needed basis for now until July 1st, when he will start working full-time. As part of his duties, Muscatello will also serve as the secretary for the board of directors. The board also approved creating the position of assistant business manager, and hiring the current assistant district secretary Connie Patterson as the assistant business manager.
Also, a memorandum of understanding was approved by the board and would be between the district and the Penns Manor Education Association. It would modify the collective bargaining agreement to allow five high school teachers to start work at 7:15 AM instead of 7:30. This will allow monitoring of students who arrive between 7:15 and 7:30.
Their next regular meeting will be June 22nd.
