One person was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Route 422 in nearby Armstrong County.
The crash was in the eastbound lanes of 422 near Cherry Run Road on May 11th at 5:46 in the evening. A car driven by 28-year-old Davis Neff of Indiana was going west and crossed into oncoming traffic hitting a pickup truck driven by 42-year-old Jennifer Haldin of Indiana in a rear wheel well. Neff’s car continued on and hit an SUV driven by 33-year-old Michael Hale of Cambridge Springs on the driver’s side front corner. Neff’s vehicle stopped after traveling on an embankment on the southern berm.
Haldin had what police called a suspected minor injury and she was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment. All three vehicles were disabled and had to be towed. Neff was cited by police for careless driving, speeding, and texting while driving.
