A Blair County man has been charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly breaking the jaw of another man in a fight March 25th in the 500 block of Maple Street in White Township.
State police say 19-year-old Mitchell Augustine of Duncansville was involved in a verbal altercation with 21-year-old Robert Jones of Newtown, PA when it turned physical and Augustine punched Mitchell in the face. Jones was treated at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. State police from the Somerset barracks investigated. They were in the area as extra law enforcement for the IUPattys event. Augustine and Jones are not IUP students.
