Rodger R. Lingenfelter “Tree Monkey”, 58, of Indiana, passed away Fri. May 5, 2017, at his residence.
A son of Edward E. Lingenfelter and Barbara Cramer Tedesco, he was born May 12, 1958, in Indiana.
Rodger was the owner of Tree Monkey’s. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling and climbing and taking trees down.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kathy J. Griffeth Lingenfelter, of Indiana; six children: Stephanie L. Conde, of Indiana; Amanda J. Wadsworth, of Indiana; Gretta O. Lingenfelter and her significant other, Jayson, of Fairbanks, AL; Jermey R. Griffeth-Talley and wife Lynsey, of Indiana; Brandon Jerue, of Anchorage, AK; Monte C. Ferguson and his significant other, Corrine Stricker, of Woodland, CA; three brothers: Eugene Lingenfelter and wife Judy, of Indiana; Rodney Lingenfelter and wife Tressa Lipa, of Pittsburgh; Mike Lingenfelter and wife Melanie, of D.C.; a sister, Linda Cecil and husband James, of Morgantown, WV; 10 grandchildren: Scarlett Lingenfelter, Madison Conde, Abagail Wadsworth, Ameia Lingenfelter, Sofia Conde, Aiden Wadsworth, Bentley Jerue, Maxwell Griffeth-Talley, Emilia Griffeth-Talley, Aleeah Jerue and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania College Lodge, 239 College Lodge Road, Indiana, where friends and family can share their memories.
