Construction work continues on the South Sixth Street bridge replacement project in White Township.
Starting today, the Route 119 South to Route 422 West ramp and the 422 West to Route 119 South ramp will be closed for the next two weeks. This is part of the $10.2 million bridge replacement project worked on by Francis J. Palo, Inc. Detours have been posted for these closures. For those that normally take 119 south on to Route 422 west, you will be re-routed onto the 422 east exit, then on to Route 954 North back to the 422 west exit. For the 422 closure, take the 422 west exit, then Route 286 west to Route 422 east then back to 119 South.
The overall project is expected to wrap up in July.
