Blairsville moved back into a tie for first place with Homer-Center with a shutout of Northern Cambria.
Blairsville scored seven runs in the first inning on six hits, two errors and a walk, then added five more in the second inning. The game ended after four and a half innings.
Dakota Sunday picked up the pitching win with four innings of work, giving up one hit and striking out four batters. Brian Knupp led Blairsville with three singles and Ricky Shirley hit two singles. Blairsville visits Ligonier Valley on Thursday.

In a thrilling finish on senior salute, Indiana defeated Derry in its final section game.
Indiana was down, 2-0, when Haleigh Zimmerman hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the sixth to pull the Indians to within one. In the bottom of the seventh with two outs, Alley Bush hit a double to the fence. Cleo McMahan followed with an infield single that moved Bush to third. Lauren Bertig hit an RBI single that scored the tying run. Haleigh Zimmerman then followed up with another home run to lead her team to a 5-2 victory. Bertig and Zimmerman were both 2 for 4 on the day.
Lauren Bertig was the winning pitcher, giving up four hits and striking out eight.
Prior to the game, the team honored Seniors Morgan Doolin and Harlie Gittings.
With the victory, Indiana finished section play with a 7-3 record and will appear in the WPIAL playoffs. Their next game is home on Friday at 4:00.
