Tyler Glasnow finally got his first Major League win – and knocked in three runs too – as the Pirates blew out the Cincinnati Reds, 12-3, Tuesday night at Great American Ball Park.
Glasnow gave up three runs in the first inning on a home run, but that’s all he gave up in six innings of work. Wade LeBlanc pitched the final three innings for his first save.
Glasnow also drove in two runs with a single in a six-run fourth inning. He was credited with another RBI on a bases-loaded walk, as the Pirates scored five more runs in the seventh inning.
Josh Harrison hit his third home run in two nights and knocked in three runs as well.
The Pirates and Reds finish the three-game series Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m.
