Patricia Gail Veltre, 72, of Strongstown, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.
A daughter of the late Donald Vaughn and Hazel Louella Edwards Bennett, she was born March 12, 1945, in Vintondale.
Mrs. Veltre was a graduate of Penns Manor High School and had lived most of her life in the Strongstown area. She was employed by Robertshaw and enjoyed traveling and having dinner out.
She is survived by her loving companion and caregiver, John C. Greene, of Strongstown; a brother, James L. Bennett, of Homer City and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Veltre; two brothers: Richard and Rodger Bennett; and two sisters: Sheila Hamner and infant Phyllis Bennett.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bill Warrick officiating. Interment will be in Pineland Cemetery.
