Yesterday was the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft and in Round two, a bit of a surprising choice for the Steelers as they pick up tall WR out of USC Juju Smith-Shuster. He got some advice about playing in the nfl from USC’s athletic director and a guy who knows the Steelers well….Lynn Swann. He told Smith-Shuster to keep a positive attitude and keep his head up.
In the third round, the Steelers picked up Cornerback Cameron Sutton of Tennessee and Running back James Conner of Pitt was also taken with a compensatory pick in the third round.
Conner, while he had an amazing year last year, it was a comeback year as he was battling leukemia during the off-season.
