A Saltsburg man was picked up on drug charges after some disorderly conduct earlier this month.
State Police say they were called out to Canal Park near Market Street in Saltsburg on April 9th at 5:07 PM. It was reported that a man was inside the public restroom for about an hour making odd noises. In doing the welfare check, police found Matthew Mason Boxler of Saltsburg, who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Troopers found on Boxler a total of 32 stamp bags of heroin, several of them empty. In addition, Boxler was found with various items of drug paraphernalia.
Charges of violating act 64 have been filed.
