PSP-GREENSBURG
State Police have accused a 13-year-old girl with assault and harassment at the Adelophi Village in Derry Township. The girl was being restrained by 57-year-old Deborah Miller, 35-year-old Jamie Maudie, 18-year-old Rayonna Black and 28-year-old Christa Wardecke at the juvenile facility for being defiant when the 13-year-old punched Miller in the eye, pulled a handful of Maudie’s hair, bit Black in the hand, and spat in Wardecke’s face. This happened on Thursday between 8:00 and 9:42 PM. Charges of Aggravated and Simple Assault and Harassment have been filed at the District Court’s juvenile facility.
A Greensburg Man was injured in a crash in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. 24-year-old Christian Domenick of Greensburg and 17-year-old Benjamin Cramer of Youngstown, PA were both driving North on Route 981. A vehicle ahead of them was stopping to turn left off the roadway, and Domenick had slowed to a stop, but Cramer was distracted and did not see Domenick had stopped and rear-ended Domenick’s Car. Both vehicles had to be towed. Domenick was taken to Latrobe Area Hospital for treatment.

Indiana-based state police are investigating a case of theft and forgery. Police say that three unknown black men purchased items with counterfeit $100 bills at the White Township Wal-Mart on Thursday between 4:33 and 4:45. The identities of the individuals have not been released as the incident is still under investigation.
