Downtown Indiana officially cut the ribbon on the Streetscape Project in a ceremony yesterday.
The Streetscape project focused on the beautification of Downtown Indiana, with road improvements, work on sidewalks, and the installation of IRMC Park on North 7th Street. The ribbon cutting represents the culmination of nine years of work in several different phases along Philadelphia Street. Downtown Indiana director David Janusek talked about the spirit of teamwork and how it seemed that every time the project had some difficulty, a downtown entity was there to step up and push the project forward.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was held at IRMC Park.
