PennDOT says daylight and nighttime lane restrictions controlled by flaggers will begin on Monday on Route 422 in Pine Township. Workers will be building a temporary roadway as part of a $1.28 million project to replace a bridge over a branch of Carney Run. The new bridge is expected to be finished this fall, as traffic uses the temporary road through the summer months.
PennDOT asks drivers to slow down and be cautious. There is no word yet on how long the round-the-clock flagging will last.
