The White Township Supervisors are getting ready to finally install the new bridge on their office property.
That installation is scheduled to take place between May 5th and May 8th, as Township Manager Milt Lady explains. It’s an agressive four-day schedule that will force the office to close on May 5th and 8th whiel the installation goes on. The project is a long-time coming, as there have been many delays with permitting at the state level.
In other business, the Supervisors will sign a letter to support a recent petition to the Pennsylvania American Water to supply water to a section of Twolick Drive from Indiana Fuel to the end of the road. 11 of 13 property owners have signed the petition for water service.
And White Township has announced that Spring Cleanup will take place from May 22nd to the 26th for wood-based yard waste. Grass clippings will not be accepted. There is a 50 pound limit for the spring cleanup, and all yard waste must be neatly stacked where you normally place garbage. Any questions should be directed to the Township Office.
