INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough Police have charged two twenty-year-olds with drug-related crimes. Charges were filed against Jacob Miller of Montgomery, PA and Knevin Gouldner of Hughesville, PA in connection with an incident on January 29th. Police say around 7:07 PM, the two were in the 200 block of West Avenue when they were approached by police. The two were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and Gouldner was also in possession of Xanax, which was not prescribed to him.
A Carlisle woman is facing drug charges for an incident in mid-February. Indiana Borough Police say on February 15th at 5:30, they found 19-year-old Chenta Shirley in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue and in possession of a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe. Along with the two drug charges, she also was charged with a traffic offense.
Indiana Borough Police have charged a Malvern, PA man with possession of a controlled substance. On February 16th, police say that 20-year-old Kyle Tashjian was in possession of Adderall without a prescription.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
No one was injured in a crash Tuesday morning in Burrell Township. State Police say the crash was on Route 22 around 7:05 AM. 29-year-old Luke Engle of Marion Center was driving his car behind a pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Laurene Snyder of Indiana when Snyder started to slow down for a steady yellow light at the intersection of Route 22 and Corporate Campus Drive. Engle’s car did not slow down and rear-ended Snyder’s truck.
