The Jimmy Stewart Airport and the Indiana County Chamber are surveying the businesses community about the airport’s importance, and today is the deadline for that survey.
Jim Struzzi of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce said the survey is to gauge the airport’s importance to the business community.
The airport has undergone several upgrades recently, including a runway extension to attract and safely accommodate jet aircraft, FAA approved precision landing for both ends of the runway, improved fuel facilities, and tax abatement for airport business development and job creation. The survey is being performed online by the IUP Small Business Instistute.
