Edith Mary Burtick

Edith Mary Burtick, age 90 of Indiana, died on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
She was born in 1926 in Aultman to Clemente and Zelinda Zambotti. Edith was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. Along with her husband they operated Burtick’s Drive-In Resturant and Minature Golf Course for 27 years until they retired in 1986.
She enjoyed watching the Penguins and the Pirates. She was also passionate about cooking and baking for family and friends. She loved going to the beach with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Pastorek and husband Lee J. of Montgomery Village, MD and two grandchildren – Megan Pastorek and companion Jerrod Cline of Smithsburg, MD and Ryan Pastorek and wife Bethanie of Suwanee, GA; six great grandchildren – Aurelia, Georgia, Declan, Quinn, Mia, and
Lilian.
She is also survived by brothers – Bruno Zambotti and wife Denise of Potomac, MD; Geno Zambotti and wife Fran of Indiana, PA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Burtick in 2006; her son George David Burtick in 1996; and her brother Leno Zambotti in 1973.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Monday April 24th at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home in Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Kent. Interment will be made in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
