Nate Davis gave up just one earned run in five innings of pitching, while Matt Alexander led Homer-Center with three hits, including two doubles, and two runs scored in the Wildcats’ 7-4 victory of Marion Center Friday night in the Homer-Center Baseball Tournament at First Commonwealth Bank Field.
Corey Cavalier pitched two scoreless innings of relief to preserve the 7-4 lead and earn the save.
Matt Gaston scored two runs for the Stingers.
In action for Saturday, Richland will play Marion Center at 10 am in the consolation final. Derry will play Homer-Center at 1 pm in the championship game.
