Homer Center won two games yesterday, beating Marion Center 11-3 and Purchase Line 18-0.
In the first game, Jesse Lee went 2 for 4 with three RBIs, two runs scored and a double, and Nate Davis went 2 for 4 with a three RBIs, two runs scored, a homer and a double for Homer-Center. For Marion Center, Eric Stitt went 1 for 3. Davis pitched 5.2 innings for the win, striking out seven batters. Dylan Goss was saddled with the loss.
In the second game, Matt Alexander hit a grand slam, while Nate Faris collected two hits and scored three runs. Ryan Popovich also had two hits for Homer-Center (5-1), which plays again Tuesday at West Shamokin. Michael Ginter picked up the win with five strong innings and seven strikeouts.
