State police are investigating incident involving a police impersonator who pulled a woman over on Route 422 in Armstrong County and asked her a sexually suggestive question.
It happened at about 9:40 yesterday morning in Kittanning Township. Police say a 43-year-old woman noticed a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria with a small blue light bar on top pulled out from a business parking lot and followed her, pulling her over on Blanket Hill Road. She said the man in the car approached her and asked for her information, but before she could give it to him, he asked to see her underwear, and he “would make it all go away.” She then sped away from the scene and went directly to the state police barracks in Kittanning.
The suspect is a white male, about 5-feet-9 inches tall, with a medium build. He had dark hair, a goatee and sideburns, and was wearing a dark blue security uniform with a patch on it that said “Security Officer”. He was wearing a dark blue ball cap.
Anyone with information is “strongly encouraged” to contact state police in Kittanning at 724-543-2011.
