State police say someone put a trap in a field in Cherryhill Township and it caused a significant injury to the leg of a horse which pastures there.
It happened on March 27th in the field off Sample Run Road. The horse’s right front leg got caught in the snare trap and a veterinarian had to be called to remove the device. The owner of the horse is a 61-year-old woman who is not publicly identified. Anyone with information on this incident, which is classified as cruelty to animals, should call state police Trooper Schmotzer at 357-1960.
